Biography
Susan Rokjer Williamson, 55, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at home with her family by her side.
Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. Rokjer, Sr. and Joan Bryan Rokjer.
Raised and educated in Troy, she attended Averill Park High School. Susan worked as a health care aide with the former Eden Park Nursing Home. She moved to South Carolina and Florida and recently returned to Mechanicville.
Survivors include five children Tracy Lynn Wagner of TN, Kimberly Kelly (Kurt) of NC, Gary Hoogkamp of FL,
April Jones (Wayne) of SC and Jonathan Williamson, TX nine grandchildren, one great grandson, a special niece and best friend Karen Santos (Marcio) of Mechanicville, three brothers Lawrence Rokjer (Margie) of Wynantskill, Frank Rokjer, Sr. of NC, Robert Rokjer, Jr. (Renee) of Webster, NY, four sisters Barbara Goudreau (Larry) of Stillwater,
Mary Ann Franco of Wynantskill, Linda McClure (Walter, Sr.), Michelle LeCuyer (Joseph) and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, at 8:45 a.m. from the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th St. and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, Williams Road, North Greenbush where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
