Jerry L. Denekar

Cohoes- Jerry L. Denekar, 52, of Cohoes passed away peacefully on January 11, 2022 surrounded by his son and brother at Samaritan Hospital.

Jerry was born on July 17, 1969 in Rochester, NY to the late John Denekar and Claudia Cushman Denekar. Jerry was a wirer for over 20 years at Phillips Medical Systems in Latham.

Jerry loved music, his guitar, and all musical instruments, especially rock and roll music. He loved fishing and his animals.

He is survived by his son Jeremy J. Aukstolis (Chrystal and her son Jacob), his brother John Denekar II (Eugenia), his niece and nephews Cassandra Honsinger, Andrew Denekar (Whitney Barton), Joseph Denekar, Michael Denekar (Kayla), and Eric Denekar. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited and may call Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 3-6 PM at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and 3rd Avenue, Troy. Please visit www.mcloughlinmason.com.
